OSG Custom Glass Artworks Featured at the Tucson Museum of Art
League's Designer Show House 2007 Quinta Ladero in the Foothills
Custom glass artworks created by the Artisans of
Ochoa Stained Glass were
featured at the Tucson Museum of Art League's
Designer Show House 2007-Quinta Ladero in the Foothills, which benefited the
Tucson Museum of Art. The event showcased the latest home and garden designs
at an extraordinary 8,100 square foot Tuscan-style home in Villa Tuscany, a new development just east of North Swan Road in the Catalina Foothills.
The event was opened for public viewing from March 10 through April 15, 2007.
Ochoa Stained Glass Artisans worked with American Society
of Interior Designers Southern Arizona Chapter (ASID) Interior Designer Diana
Patterson to create a 9-panel lighted fused glass wall art piece that enhanced
the look of the homes hall bath turned into the euphemistic "Library" by
Patterson.
Ochoa Stained Glass Artisans also created the beautiful glass art skylight that
complements the wall art piece for this unusual "reading room."
Owner/Artist Genia Parker's custom designed Art Deco
skylight added real drama to ASID Interior Designer Sharmin Pool-Bak of
Complete Dimension's Home Theatre design. Genia worked with Sharmin to create
a custom glass art piece that was reminiscent of the theatre lobbies that
helped define the Art Deco period.
Ochoa Stained Glass has been proud to participate in
the last three ASID Designer Show House events held to benefit the Tucson
Museum of Art. "It's a great way to show unique and dramatic ways in which
glass art can be incorporated into Southern Arizona homes," explained
Owner/Artist Genia Parker. "We're thrilled to be able to participate in such a
worthwhile event," Parker added.
